  3. To Paris Guy at 9:59 AM:

You posted the exact same comment in another thread a few days ago. This copying and pasting is pathetic. No need to keep repeating the same drivel.

  4. Here is a good article in The Globe and Mail about the huge high school dropout rate among boys in Quebec:

    http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/the-lost-boys-of-quebec/article1703310/

The article states, among other things, that as many as one million Quebeckers are functionally illiterate. That's one out of seven or eight people in the province. Not surprising.

  5. "That's one out of seven or eight people in the province. Not surprising."

  7. To DarFAGnan at 6:43 PM,

Jacques Demers is just another illiterate Quebecois. Need I say more?

The illiteracy rate in the rest of Canada is definitely lower than in Quebec.

On verra bien. It's for ever.

    P. S. To the Editor, I do not want to show I am influenced by Anglo-Quebecers by complaining. But I think the name given by Anglo Bashers to Dartagnan, DarFAGnan, is inappropriate. I can understand that there are Frusti-Anglos in Québec, and there will be more in the coming years, but there must be limits to inappropriate language.

I may not agree with your point of view, but you make your point very well. Please continue to post. I hope you will use a fake name so that we can respond without using "ANON@"

AngloBashers-he is right. Play nice, no perjoratives!!
BTW- didn't 'Dartagnan' say that he wasn't posting anymore?

  10. To the Editor:

Dartagnan said he would no longer be posting but he is doing so anonymously now. It is still very easy to recognize his comments despite the fact that he is making them anonymously. And he is not playing nice. For example, he has referred to 'Adski' as 'Madski.' I suggest you restrict his abusive personal attacks on other users...no double standards.

    To Anon. at 4:33 PM:

Statistics indicate that with each passing year Quebec is becoming more and more dependent on transfer payments from other Canadian provinces. It has required these payments for decades. At this rate the entire province of Quebec will become nothing more than a slum within the next 50 years...it will become a Third World banana republic if it manages to separate.

Anglo-Quebeckers hardly complain as much as Francophone Quebecois do. Their Bloc Quebecois party has made the act of complaining into an art and science.
