Communists Frolic at Khadir Chalet

There isn't much left of the Quebec Communist Party, history and circumstances has ravaged the ranks and many have gravitated over to Quebec Solidaire, where they militate and even run for office without the cumbersome baggage of the Communist Party label. The party also saw their ranks contract when a number of their more militant members broke ranks in an ideological schism.

The relationship between the Communists and Quebec solidaire has been kept on the down low for good reason, as you can well imagine. The party, as well as Amir Khadir in particular, don't see any upside to having the bond between the two becoming widely publicized.  But the relationship is close and last week's article by Éric Duhaime blew the lid off the worst kept secret in Quebec. read 'Khadir at Home with Communists' (in French)

What's left of the party held its annual summer weekend 'Training Camp" at the chalet of the Amir family with Jafar, Amir's father, acting as host of the event on the slopes of Mont Pinnacle near Frelighsburg in the Eastern Townships.

One could be forgiven in assuming that the Casa Khadir would be a huge compound in order to accommodate a whole gaggle of comrades, but in truth, the abode is rather modest.

No matter. Although the eager comrades came from far and wide, they didn't come in great numbers and the dozen or so participants were all that the remnants of the fading movement could muster.

Hmmm. It takes a special kind of moron person to be a communist these days, considering the movement is more or less discredited worldwide. Let's hope that these misfits committed individuals, pictured above, grow up to view the world more realistically and not end up like Khadir pater, an  Khrushchev-age ideologue, sadly out of touch with reality.

Maybe it is really a case of camaraderie. By all descriptions the event wasn't just a political indoctrination session but a social event as well. Saturday night was highlighted by a fabulous Mexican dinner which I imagine was followed up the next morning with copious servings of FRUIT LOOPS for breakfast.
I imagine that the idea of turning Quebec into a 'workers paradise' was oft discussed, notwithstanding that the province already is, with the related goal of making the workforce the most unproductive in the country already achieved. Perhaps discussions of the big bad boss and how the unions can fairly divvy up profits among the proletariat occupied some of the discussions, but no meeting of Quebec radicals would be complete without some anglo-bashing and discussions of the modalities leading to the promised land of a sovereign Quebec.

In this regard, no less a personage than Mario Beaulieu of the Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste, along with his trusty V-P, came out to address this small, yet illustrious group.

If anything, you've got to admire his determination and work ethic. After all, a three hour return trip, to speak with a handful of committed nut jobs militants is something to be admired.

He wasn't the only one.
Jean-Pierre Durand, co-president of Mouvement Montréal Français, as well as a directer of the more militant Reseau de resistance du Quebecois also addressed the audience.

As for the host, Jafar Khadir there's no truth to the rumour that he mixed up the speech he was to give condemning Canada's participation in the war in Afghanistan with that of a much older speech that he kept in his archives, wherein he delivered a spirited defence of Russia's heroic military intervention in support of the glorious communist government of that very same country, just two decades ago.

As for Amir, unlike last year where he was a hearty participant, no mention of his presence at this year's festivities was made, perhaps he is lying low considering recent revelations.

  1. In that there is constant pressure to rewrite our history - to pacify the cranky Province of Quebec and the french outside Quebec - a major reason we lost the Red Ensign in the first place - we must do what we can to protect and preserve our history. A history that is under constant attack. Very few Canadians are aware that we now have portraits in our parliament of French Kings - who had nothing to do with the building of Canada- the statue of General James Wolfe no longer overlooks the Plains of Abraham, the only statue in Quebec City is of the losing General, Montcalm. There are statues of three French generals but no statues of the victorious generals at the Valiant’s memorial in Ottawa. That’s right, no General Wolfe, no General Amherst… This historical revisionism is going on right under the noses of the Governments we elect - and they remain silent!

Whats really going on? “First Quebec, then the rest of the country, one step at a time…” How ? What are they really up to? “First Quebec, then we take over the rest of the country, one step at a time…through bilingualism…” PT, “How to take over a country through bilingualism…” SD. How ? First comes the right to communicate with gov't in a minority language (ie French),then comes bilingualism, then comes the right to work in the language of choice(ie French), then comes a bilingual boss,(ie French) then comes a exclusively French department and on it goes until its all French. Its happening all over the country…That’s what’s really going on. Wake up, people! Quebec, where the English, Scottish, Irish, United Empire Loyalists… built up the province of Kebec (original native spelling) since 1763. Yes, the same province of Kebec where the Union Jack and Red Ensign flew until 1950. Again, just the facts…This lie, this hoax, this revisionist nonsense that Quebec is a French province and that Canada is bilingual is just that, an outright lie. Fact: We have been part of the British Empire since 1763.We were officially an English speaking country for over 200 years, again just the facts. Almost 1 million people have been forced out of the province of Kebec due to this type of hatred/lie/spin… While all this is going on in Quebec they are forcing the French language outside Quebec in every province. Everything and anything the French demand they are getting across this entire country. They call it bilingualism (another lie never clearly defined on purpose). What are they really up to? “First Quebec, then we take over the rest of the country, one step at a time…through bilingualism…” PT, “How to take over a country through bilingualism…” SD. That’s what’s really going on. Wake up, people! Ask yourself a simple question. Why are we not teaching our real BNA history? Why are we not teaching our proud UEL history in our schools any longer?

"Loyal She Began, Loyal She Remains." Go learn our proud, real BNA and UEL history. These were the builders of our country since 1763. Not this phony, revisionist lie, this bilingual, multicultural, 2 founding nations, linguistic duality lie, propaganda, spin that we’ve been living with since Trudeau, and kebec forced this upon the nation. We’ve been part of the British Empire since 1763 and officially an English speaking country for over 200 years…just a fact. Wake up people, your country is in deep trouble and NO English speaking politician is telling you the truth, is exposing what is really going on. Not one politician has the decency, the honesty to expose the truth, to speak the truth, how pathetic. Poor Canada, what a mess.

You should check your facts, they held it at Mont Pinacle near Lake Lyster near Baldwin, QC (over 100 kms east of Frelighsburg, thank goodness!)
Who knew there was more than 1 Pinnacle!

I vote for Annoymous August 2, 2010 for prime minister or any high level of government to shake things up and expose the hypocrisy in Canada. This country needs a serious wake up call and no one seems to be listening. Exactly what is it that French Quebec has, that is keeping the rest of Canada walking on eggshells? Would it not be better to pick out that one rotten apple out of the apple cart than see the rest of the country rot in political HELL for an eternity?

Yes, Vive le Québec libre! Let's help them pack their bags and send them off to their own French utopia, without dragging the rest of Canada with it. Let Quebec fund their own grandiosity! Let Quebec work for it with the sweat of their brow instead of their hollow threats and generous equalization payments. Adieu Quebec!

Wrong, stupid! The equalization payments are determined by the wealth of the provinces. Ontario has considerably more people than Quebec but it only received 350 million in transfer payments in 2009, as compared to 8.5 billion in payments to Quebec the same year.
Last year was the first year that Ontario has ever received transfer payments, while Quebec has been living off the rest of Canada for decades.

Par capita, le Québec ne reçoit pas plus que les autres provinces comme l'I-P-E, le N-B, la N-É, l'Ontario et le Manitoba. Six provinces sur 10, le Québec n'a pas à être gêné ! You, sir, are a hero.

Hero? I think calling the blogger a 'hero' is a little overstated. However, I do agree that the work this blogger is doing is generous and praise worthy. The internet serves as a good public record of what is happening in Quebec. Bloggers like this expose the daily injustices and transgressions that are perpetrated by the Quebecois majority and are routinely ignored by the ineffectual mainstream media. The fact that this blog is conducted anonymously speaks volumes about how constricted and targeted Anglos feel in Quebec; Anglos learned a lot from the experiences of Howard «anglo juif» Galganov (and others), and what happens to anyone who publicly denounces the Quebecois induced ethnocentric status quo. This blogger may not be a hero (just yet), but anyone who has the skill, brains, and passion to track, record, and make public what the Quebecois are really doing has my support and respect, along with yours I'm sure. Ha, ha, ha!!! Your dirty little secrets are becoming common knowledge. Vive l'internet libre!!!

If you are an example of the average Quebecois, then 2% of the population of North America is 2% too much. The language laws of Quebec have gone too far - it has become a fascist jurisdiction. Besides, Francophones in New Brunswick and Ontario don't have such languages laws to 'protect' them, and they haven't disappeared.
